Our new headquarter
The first solar-electric commercial building in Austria! Until the end of summer 2021, our new company building was built on 2.600 m² in our home town Neuzeug. Outstanding feature: A total of 300 solar modules with around 100 kWp were attached to and on the building - and thus determine its shape!
Ahead of our time and setting new trends: Heating and cooling will be fully electrical and photovoltaic powered. A live showroom, in which our innovative products can be experienced in real operation, visibly presents solar-electric building technology.

750 Euro annual operating costs
A family of three from Upper Austria pays 750 euros in annual operating costs for electricity, hot water and space heating for their single-family house of 150 m2. A photovoltaic power manager (AC•THOR 9s) controls the house's own 11 kWp photovoltaic system and enables efficient self-consumption of the electrical energy.
"It's a dream! Thanks to my-PV, we can run our house almost completely solar-electric and reduce our energy costs by 49 percent," the owner said happily when he sent us a photo of his annual electricity bill.

Feeding hot water from PV energy into the heating grid
Since the end of February 2019, a dozen 3-kilowatt immersion heaters and modern AC•THOR power controllers have been supporting the district heating supply of a newly renovated appartment building in Vienna.
This is the first time that a hot water generation system based solely on photovoltaic solar power supports a district heating network of this size.
Residential building Linz
ELWA also provides optimal energy management in multi-apartment buildings. By using ELWA, the central building services could be reduced to a minimum in this project in Linz. The hot water preparation is completely decentralized in the individual apartments.
