◼ Where are the ordered products?
Delivery times, and the unfortunately often related delays in delivery, are not only a recent topic in the news, but also of our everyday work. What are the reasons for this? We want to give a brief explanation from our side.
In the last few weeks we have received many questions regarding delivery times. The reason why there is an extended delivery time for practically all our products is quite simple:
With regard to electronics production, like the one we operate, ordering goods for various components on the printed circuit boards for 12 to 14 months in advance has always been standard. This means, for example, that quantities of goods that we have ordered from February 2021 will not reach us until February 2022.
Until the end of February 2022, the delivery time for customer orders for our products was around one to two weeks. Our aspiration is to be able to meet customer requests quickly.
Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine at the end of February 2022, the number of clicks on our website, the interest in our products and solutions, and the resulting orders from customers have increased drastically. Since we offer solutions that reduce gas consumption for hot water or even replace it during sunny phases of the year, demand after our products has skyrocketed.
This crisis situation in Eastern Europe was in no way foreseeable. As a result, do not receive the quantities we ask for delivered on time, which in turn leads to increasing delivery times for our customers.
Wholesalers quickly recognized this issue and ordered larger quantities of each product, which consequences are particularly noticeable for customers.
As a result, we have already significantly increased the planned quantities for 2023 in order to be able to return to our prior delivery times - which is to everyone's satisfaction.
