Sailer storage manufacturer now compatible with my-PV products

We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Sailer, a renowned company in the Power-to-Heat sector, further promoting system compatibility.

The mid-sized company Sailer GmbH from Ehingen, Germany, specializes in producing buffer, cooling, and stratified storage tanks with capacities ranging from 100 to 100,000 liters, which can either be factory-made or welded on-site. Additionally, Sailer manufactures high-performance fresh water stations with tap capacities ranging from 30 to 800 liters per minute.

As a manufacturer of thermal storage systems, Sailer provides an ideal solution for integrating my-PV's linearly controlled photovoltaic heat solutions. This ensures maximum utilization of solar energy from your PV system, converting it into heat. For grid-connected PV systems, only surplus energy is used.

A highlight from the Baden-Württemberg-based manufacturer is their stratified electric heating element, a Power-to-Heat solution designed for outputs of up to 9 kW. It ensures particularly efficient layering of the electrically generated heat within the storage tank. Sailer's proven stratified charging lance allows the tank to be loaded from top to bottom, even though the screw-in heating element is installed at the bottom. This enables the entire tank to be charged with surplus solar energy, preventing mixing losses. This way, even brief energy surpluses can be quickly converted into usable heat without thermally mixing the storage tank.

An important aspect when utilizing photovoltaic energy is a linearly controlled photovoltaic power manager, which perfectly controls Sailer's electric heating element, ensuring that only surplus energy is used, preventing the need to draw power from the grid.
