my-PV expands into the Benelux region with strong presence at InterSolution in Gent

Last week, we successfully exhibited at InterSolution, one of the most important trade fairs for solar energy in the region. The high level of interest from visitors clearly showed that smart solutions for solar self-consumption are more relevant than ever in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

The market conditions in the Benelux countries make self-consumption particularly attractive. Feed-in tariffs are comparatively low, and in the Netherlands, additional terugleverkosten (feed-in charges) provide a strong financial incentive to minimize electricity exported to the grid. As a result, many installers, planners, and homeowners are actively looking for ways to use as much of their own solar power as possible on-site.

Intelligent use of solar energy with PV heat

One of the most efficient ways to utilize surplus solar power is by converting it into heat instead of feeding it into the public grid. my-PV offers simple and cost-effective solutions that allow homeowners to use excess PV energy for domestic hot water or space heating – without the need for battery storage.

With a PV system of around 8 kWp, self-consumption can be increased by up to 70%. Products such as AC ELWA 2, AC•THOR and AC•THOR 9s continuously adjust their power output to match the available solar surplus. This energy is then used to heat water in boilers or buffer tanks, ensuring that no valuable solar electricity is wasted.

Installation and retrofitting are straightforward. Thanks to broad inverter compatibility, additional components – such as the my-PV WiFi Meter – are often not required, saving up to €300 in extra costs. my-PV solutions are compatible with around 80% of common inverter brands, offering maximum flexibility for both new installations and existing PV systems. Thanks to the open system design, PV heat can also be combined with battery storage to further increase self-consumption.

Wissenswertes

"I am very pleased that at InterSolution we were able to present our partnership with Inverter Service for the first time. At the same time, we welcomed Roel Defrancq, who joined us at the beginning of the year as Technical Sales Manager for the Benelux region. Numerous visitors experienced firsthand the professionalism of our trade fair presence."
