Review of Intersolar 2025

With over 100,000 visitors and more than 3,000 exhibitors from 57 countries, the world’s leading trade fair for the solar industry once again demonstrated its enormous international relevance in Munich.

For my-PV, Intersolar 2025 was a complete success – despite a deliberately compact presence as a co-exhibitor at the booth of our partner KOSTAL. The topic of photovoltaic heat is currently attracting significant interest – not least due to developments in the energy market.
Through numerous discussions – both with industry professionals and private customers – one thing became clear: the desire to use solar power directly at the point of generation is stronger than ever. Self-consumption of PV electricity, energy independence, and the reduction of electricity and heating costs were central concerns for many visitors.

Our sales team (DACH & International) confirms this and was very pleased with the outcome of Intersolar:

“my-PV was very satisfied with the level of interest and the positive atmosphere among visitors at Intersolar 2025. The topic of using photovoltaics for hot water and heating is gaining momentum,” says Sales Director Markus Gundendorfer.

“Our trade fair visitors were very interested in our latest developments. With our new products, the off-grid solution SOL•THOR (which received exceptionally high demand), and our newly announced product HEA•THOR IoT, set to launch this fall, we were able to showcase our innovative capabilities impressively.
The high level of international interest – with visitors from across Europe and overseas – was particularly striking. The topic of photovoltaic-based hot water and heating is not just regional, but truly global – a ‘hot topic’,” adds Andreas Kaiser, Head of International Sales.

HEA•THOR IoT Debut at Intersolar

A special highlight this year was the premiere presentation of HEA•THOR IoT – our new IoT heating element, introduced in March 2025 and launching in Q3. This addition to the portfolio enables the efficient use of dynamic electricity tariffs for hot water generation – even in households without their own PV systems.

Successful Collaborations with YouTubers

We also used Intersolar 2025 as an opportunity to collaborate with well-known content creators committed to the energy transition. A standout example is the video by Felix Goldbach, who visited our booth and showcased our products. The video went viral – with over 470,000 views, it is among the most-watched content on his channel. Another clear sign of the growing interest in efficient PV heat solutions.

Strong Partnerships at the Trade Fair

Another key success factor at Intersolar 2025 was the exchange with our many compatibility and distribution partners. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners for their successful collaboration.

Many of our partners actively promoted the topic of PV heat at their booths and provided direct information about ways to increase PV self-consumption.

A particularly outstanding example is our long-standing partner Kontron Solar, which develops innovative power electronics for PV systems, solar thermal systems, and battery chargers – all compatible with my-PV products. At the Kontron Solar booth, our AC ELWA 2 was impressively showcased on the display wall!

Our partner landscape continues to expand – we welcome new collaborations almost every month. At trade fairs, we present this diversity with pride on our partner wall, featuring a wide range of logos and drawing strong attention.
