Viessmann GridBox compatible with my-PV

Viessmann is the leading provider of solutions for climate control (heating, cooling and air quality) for all living spaces. Sector coupling is becoming increasingly important and companies like Viessmann have been active in many different sectors for over 100 years.

Recently, products from Viessmann, especially the GridBox , have also become compatible with our AC•THOR or AC•THOR 9s. And it's very simple: the GridBox is an intelligent power manager that controls the energy flows. The initial commissioning is very simple, using Plug & Play.

This way, hot water tanks, photovoltaic systems, self-consumption management, etc. from Viessmann become compatible by means of our AC•THOR series. Via the Viessmann GridBox, battery storage tanks as well as hot water storage tanks (no matter if buffer or boiler storage tank), which are in the system, can be easily supplied with excess photovoltaic power.

The following device types are already preset for the GridBox: Viessmann PV E-Heater 3.0-1, Viessmann PV E-Heater 3.0-1 (EU) and also Viessmann PV E-Heater 9.0-3.

With this important expansion of our compatibility, we are creating the basis for a clean energy future.
