Electric cars at my-PV

We see the future not only in (solar-)electric building technology, but also in the field of mobility.

Already in 2019, we took our first steps toward electromobility and invested in our first electric vehicles for employees. Since then, we have continuously expanded our vehicle fleet and now increasingly rely on sustainable mobility solutions, which are charged during the day using electricity from our own photovoltaic system. In the meantime, our fleet includes six electric cars, featuring brands such as Skoda, BYD, and Tesla.

To ensure that our company vehicles are reliably supplied with energy at all times, we have installed two wallboxes from our compatibility partner KEBA Energy Automation in our company parking lot. These allow us to conveniently charge the vehicles during the workday and keep them ready for use at all times.

However, our charging infrastructure is not reserved exclusively for company vehicles. Of course, our customers can also charge their electric cars while visiting us. In addition, more and more of our employees are taking advantage of the opportunity to charge their private electric vehicles at our charging stations.

Annual Review 2024

The annual evaluation of our solar-electric company building clearly shows that a significant share of the solar power generated could be used for electromobility. A total of 26,000 kWh was used to charge our electric vehicles—an increase of 11,300 kWh compared to the previous year. This growth not only reflects the expansion of our electric company fleet but also shows that more and more of our employees are choosing electromobility.
