Warehouse Expansion to Optimize Production Process
Already last year, we tripled our production area to meet the increasing demand for linearly regulated electric heating rods and power managers for solar-electric heating. We are now taking a further step to optimize our new production site and ensure a smooth production process.
To continue meeting the growing demands, we have undertaken another expansion approximately nine months after expanding the production site near the solar electric company building. In recent months, intensive work has been done on expanding our warehouse and increasing storage capacities. The enlarged warehouse at the new production site encompasses an additional area of 230 square meters, providing space for 250 new pallet positions. This expansion of the warehouse space not only significantly increase storage capacities, but also improves the entire production process. Optimal resource utilization minimizes the risk of storage shortages and contributes to an efficient production flow.
Improvement of Safety Standards and Warehouse Logistics
It was particularly important for us to continue meeting the safety standards for our production and warehouse employees. The expanded warehouse offers more freedom of movement as well as improved ventilation and lighting in the warehouse hall.
Additionally, with the implementation of the Kanban system as part of Lean Management, warehouse logistics have been optimized. This ensures better visibility and accessibility to material stocks as well as smooth material supply to production. Fast order picking and easy inventory are thus ensured.
We are happy to provide insight into our new warehouse, which enables us to continue to deliver high-quality devices to our customers while also responding to increasing demand.
