"I first learned about the solutions from my-PV in one of the free webinars. I found it to be an excellent demonstration, and it helped me understand the system correctly! I have been using an AC ELWA-E and an AC•THOR 9s since June 2020, and I am very satisfied. The devices are controlled by the SolarManager. However, I only activate the AC•THOR 9s once the water temperature reaches 56°C, the point at which the heat pump is no longer efficient. The my-PV devices are especially ideal with low surplus power. I don’t start the heat pump with less than 3 kW surplus to avoid drawing power from the public grid. Here, the fine power setting on the heating elements is the better solution for me. With the latest firmware on the devices, I now also have remote access anytime via the my-PV.LIVE data platform.

If feed-in tariffs continue to decrease in Switzerland, the use of my-PV devices will become even more attractive. So, I am well-prepared for the electric future," says Roger Dekumbris optimistically.
