New Compatibility Partner: E.ON Germany

my-PV’s solar-electric solutions are now compatible with the E.ON Home Energy Manager (HEMS).

With our new compatibility partner, E.ON Germany, we are proud to have gained a strong and influential ally.
E.ON operates in the fields of energy distribution networks, energy infrastructure solutions, and energy sales. With an energy distribution network spanning 1.6 million kilometers and around 47 million customers, E.ON plays a leading role in shaping a green, digital, and decentralized energy future.

While E.ON Germany, as one of the country’s leading energy companies, offers a broad range of electricity tariffs and energy solutions, my-PV provides the perfectly matching, combinable products:
Our devices – AC•THOR, AC•THOR 9s, and AC ELWA 2 – are now compatible with the E.ON Home Energy Manager.

Why choose my-PV solutions?

my-PV systems operate with continuously variable control, depending on the surplus power from the photovoltaic system. This ensures that a PV system remains profitable in the future – especially in light of Germany’s Solar Peak Law, which suspends feed-in remuneration when electricity market prices turn negative.

With the my-PV Solar Peak Optimizer (my-PV SPO), self-consumption for water heating is prioritized precisely when no remuneration is paid under the EEG subsidy. Generating hot water – continuously regulated – when no feed-in payment is available is now possible through the compatibility between E.ON’s Home Energy Manager and my-PV’s solar-electric heating solutions.

The E.ON Home Energy Manager connects and visualizes all installed household components, enabling automated and demand-based control. This allows users to maximize their self-consumption of solar power and significantly reduce electricity costs. Thanks to control based on dynamic tariffs, our heating elements can operate exactly when electricity prices are at their lowest – the perfect complement for efficient use of our solar-electric heating systems.
