Compatible with easyTherm

my-PV products are now also compatible with infrared heaters from easyTherm.

The Austrian company, founded in 2010 and headquartered in Unterwart (Burgenland), has specialized from the very beginning in the development of innovative infrared heating systems. Guided by the vision “The future is electric”, easyTherm focuses on the use of solar energy, achieving an efficiency rate of nearly 100% and heating cost savings of up to 70%. Sustainability is a top priority within the company, and its products consistently convince independent institutes, which regularly certify them as high-quality, safe, and exceptionally efficient.

easyTherm offers solutions for new builds, heating system renovations, supplementary heating, and even building drying. To meet these needs, a variety of products are available, including infrared panels and heaters in different designs, underfloor heating systems, and other infrared variations. Combining these with an existing or planned photovoltaic system is particularly economical. The integration of photovoltaics and infrared heating results in a heating system with a high degree of energy independence—ecological, economical, and aesthetically pleasing.

Compatible Products

When combined with my-PV products, easyTherm infrared heaters can be operated with maximum efficiency—using PV surplus power with seamless control. The AC•THOR or AC•THOR 9s, in conjunction with the my-PV WiFi Meter, regulates the heating output based on available PV surplus. This ensures that self-generated solar power is used specifically for heating, thereby optimizing the self-consumption rate of the PV system. The my-PV WiFi Meter analyzes the energy flows of the PV system and communicates surplus power information to the AC•THOR or AC•THOR 9s, ensuring that only available PV electricity is utilized.

On days with insufficient sunlight, when PV surplus alone cannot maintain the desired temperature, electricity can easily be drawn from the public grid—ensuring maximum comfort.

The combination of easyTherm and my-PV therefore provides an efficient, flexible, and cost-effective solution for using self-generated solar energy for space heating. In addition, my-PV devices are compatible with various inverters, battery storage systems, and smart home platforms, allowing for seamless integration into existing energy systems. Surplus measurement can also be handled by a compatible manufacturer—offering customers additional savings.
