Compatibility with Eniris

The Belgian company Eniris, founded in 2018 and based in Ghent, has been offering its proprietary energy management system (EMS), SmartgridOne, since 2020. This system enables intelligent control of inverters, charging stations, and now also my-PV devices. Over 15,000 SmartgridOne systems are already successfully in operation, helping customers optimize their energy consumption. The system takes dynamic energy prices into account and ensures smart distribution of energy across different consumption sectors—with the goal of automatically minimizing electricity and operating costs. By combining my-PV solutions with SmartgridOne, solar energy can be used particularly efficiently and in a demand-oriented manner.

Compatible Products

Compatibility includes the AC•THOR, AC•THOR 9s, and AC ELWA 2. These products can be connected directly to the SmartgridOne EMS, receiving precise information about the currently available PV surplus. This surplus from the user’s own PV system is then used watt-accurately by the solar-electric solutions for heating in buffer tanks or hot water storage. This increases self-consumption, which is optimally managed—excess energy is no longer fed into the grid unused but is used efficiently. This also saves costs and improves the profitability of the PV system.

Another advantage: no additional metering device is required for surplus measurement—the combination of SmartgridOne and my-PV handles this task entirely.
