ISH 2025: A Resounding Success for my-PV and the Future of Photovoltaic Heat

The ISH 2025 has come to an end – and we look back on a successful week filled with innovation, exciting discussions, and overwhelming interest in our solutions for optimizing self-consumption!

As the world’s leading trade fair for water, heating, and air, the ISH in Frankfurt once again provided the perfect platform to showcase our latest developments in photovoltaic heat.

Strong interest in photovoltaic heat

Numerous conversations with interested visitors confirmed that the trend toward sector coupling and the intelligent use of photovoltaic electricity for heat supply continues to grow. Many visitors, including installers and planners, saw the benefits of our solutions firsthand – and the feedback was consistently positive.

Self-consumption optimization as a solution to low feed-in tariffs

Given the latest developments in the energy market and the increasing uncertainty surrounding feed-in tariffs, ISH 2025 made one thing clear: self-consumption is the future! Our solutions, such as the AC ELWA 2 and the AC•THOR / AC•THOR 9s, enable the efficient use of photovoltaic energy for hot water and heating – a concept that is winning over more and more households.
The fair was also a great benchmark for evaluating industry perspectives on dynamic electricity tariffs. Our my-PV DTO perfectly complements this trend, even for existing IoT-enabled products, by leveraging cost-effective hourly dynamic electricity tariffs.

Interest in new products

A true eye-catcher at our booth was the SolarDog booth along with our internally fondly called “Bluzer” – a plexiglass boiler showcasing our devices, among that our latest product development, the HEA•THOR IoT. Combined with the my-PV DTO, it sparked great interest in utilizing dynamic electricity tariffs for heat generation.

“The trade fair clearly demonstrated that self-sufficiency and self-consumption are the topics of the moment, and our solutions are perfectly positioned for this trend. With our new products, such as the SOL•THOR and the IoT heating element HEA•THOR IoT, we are addressing exactly what the market needs right now. We are very pleased with our experience at ISH 2025.”
