Compatible with smart energy partner gridX

my-PV’s solar-electric solutions are now also compatible with gridX’s modular energy management system (EMS), XENON.

Through integration with XENON, my-PV devices become part of an intelligently networked energy system. The EMS continuously analyses data on current and forecasted PV generation, consumption profiles, electricity prices, and grid signals, and sends precise control signals to individual devices based on its algorithms. This ensures that hot water production and heating support automatically operate when sufficient PV power is available or when electricity prices are particularly low.
The result: maximum self-consumption and minimum costs – fully automated, without any manual intervention. Users can maintain an overview of energy flows, consumption, and savings at any time via the white-label end-user app offered by gridX’s partners.

Based in Aachen and Munich, gridX is Europe’s leading smart energy company. With its modular XENON energy management system, gridX enables cross-manufacturer optimization and management of decentralized energy resources. Partners can develop scalable energy management solutions more quickly and adapt them flexibly to changing market requirements. HEMS partners, such as Soly or IBC Solar, offer end customers a holistic, smart energy management system.

Products included in the compatibility

Compatibility extends to the AC•THOR, AC•THOR 9s, AC ELWA-E and AC ELWA 2.
With my-PV’s solar-electric solutions, even minimal PV surpluses can be used for heat generation thanks to continuous modulation – providing hot water from excess PV energy that would otherwise be poorly remunerated when fed into the grid. This enables users to get more out of their own PV power while simultaneously reducing operating costs for household heat generation.

XENON calculates the optimal use of the entire energy system based on its intelligent control logic and transmits the corresponding control signals to the my-PV devices. In this way, hot water generation and heating support are automated and efficiently managed – always aligned with current market conditions and regulatory requirements. Details on the technical integration can be found in the descriptions provided here.
