New Compatibility Partner: Deye

my-PV products are now also compatible with Deye inverters, which are rapidly gaining market share in Europe.

Founded in 2007 and headquartered in China, Ningbo Deye Inverter Technology Co., Ltd. is a leading high-tech company in the solar inverter sector and a major player in the global market. Deye offers a wide range of inverters, from microinverters and hybrid inverters to commercial systems in the megawatt range. The company focuses on technological innovation to ensure the efficiency and reliability of all its products.

Deye provides solutions for residential and commercial installations and offers inverters for all module types, for both grid-connected and off-grid systems. This allows Deye to optimize the use of generated photovoltaic energy, whether in small home systems or large solar parks. Together with my-PV, this results in an even more independent and efficient solution for utilizing self-generated solar power.

Compatible Products

In combination with my-PV products, customers can use the generated PV power particularly efficiently with Deye inverters. This is because, instead of feeding the PV power into the public grid—as is usually the case—after it has been stored in a battery or used in the household, compatibility makes an additional storage option available: With my-PV solutions, an existing heat storage tank—which is usually already present—can now be easily utilized as well—and with an AC ELWA 2, the AC•THOR, or AC•THOR 9s, solar power that would otherwise be surplus and fed into the grid can be used to heat water during the day. Thanks to this compatibility, the task of measuring when surplus power is fed into the grid is no longer handled by the my-PV WiFi Meter, but rather by querying the Deye inverter. This allows for synergies to be leveraged—resulting in financial savings for the customer! This allows the self-generated PV electricity to be specifically used for hot water production or heating, thereby optimizing the PV system’s self-consumption.

An optional hot water backup is included with the my-PV devices: however, should solar radiation ever be insufficient, grid power can be automatically accessed to ensure the comfort of a minimum temperature.

The combination of Deye inverters and my-PV devices thus offers a flexible, efficient, and cost-saving solution for making optimal use of self-generated solar power.
