New partner: Hager flow now compatible
As of recently, all grid-connected my-PV products are also compatible with the flow energy management system from Hager, allowing for even more self-consumption of PV electricity.
Hager is a significant provider of solutions and services for electrical installations. With its flow energy management system, Hager offers a user-friendly solution for single-family homes, heavily influenced by customer feedback. The system consists of two to three well-coordinated components: the energy manager, the energy storage unit, and the optional charging station for electric mobility.
flow by Hager stands for intelligent energy management: The system aligns fluctuating PV energy production with consumption by storing energy in advance and making it available to various consumers when needed – for example, at night when the PV system isn’t generating electricity. The generation, consumption, storage, and feeding back into the grid are economically managed according to priorities: self-consumption, storage, and feeding into the grid.
Now, my-PV devices, which generate heat from excess electricity produced by the photovoltaic system, are newly included. The AC ELWA 2, the AC•THOR, and the AC•THOR 9s efficiently and seamlessly use excess PV energy for heating. During the day – after household consumers, a battery, or electric mobility have been prioritized – hot water can be produced or even the heating system supported.
This results in even greater self-consumption, thanks to the openness of my-PV systems, now compatible with Hager’s flow system.
