New Compatibility Partner: smart-me

Since 2014, the Swiss company has been revolutionizing the energy sector with innovative energy metering devices and cloud-based software. As a leading provider in the field of smart energy, smart-me enables precise measurement, control, optimization, and billing of energy. Both the software and hardware are developed to the highest quality standards and produced at the company’s headquarters in Rotkreuz. The product portfolio includes energy meters, gateways, and the Pico EV charging station. Additionally, smart-me offers interfaces for third-party systems and seamless integration into business software, providing customers with maximum flexibility and tailored solutions.

Thanks to compatibility with the Austrian expert in photovoltaic-powered heating, my-PV, customers of both manufacturers can now efficiently use solar power for water heating – while keeping track of their energy consumption in real time. The smart-me cloud analyzes the collected energy data and offers various graphs and dashboards to optimally track my-PV products. This ensures that the generated solar energy is used and managed efficiently.

Which products are compatible?

The my-PV solutions AC ELWA 2, AC•THOR, and AC•THOR 9s can be easily integrated, connecting to smart-me’s smart meters via the network. For example, with the 3-phase meter Telstar 80A, surplus energy values can be read, allowing my-PV products to precisely regulate solar-electric heating in a stepless manner – linearly controlled down to the exact watt – without drawing power from the grid.
