Project Description by the Planner
The customer's goal was to maximize the use of self-produced electricity for their four-person household. Upon our recommendation, the originally planned solar thermal system was replaced by hot water heating with my-PV products. On days with insufficient photovoltaic yield, the optional hot water assurance feature of the AC•THOR 9s can be used. In summer, this eliminates the need to use the heating stove. Additionally, in the cold season, the room heating supply is also supported by excess photovoltaic energy.
The control of the AC•THOR by Sungrow is done via the network. All components are connected to the router. In the my-PV web interface, only "Sungrow" needs to be selected as the control type; no further settings are required for communication between the manufacturers.
