Customer Statement
"Since the installation, my hot water preparation has been fully handled by the AC•THOR 9s, which transfers excess photovoltaic energy that can no longer be stored by the E3/DC battery to the heating elements in the boiler. On average, this resulted in an additional self-consumption of between 26 and 35 kWh of energy in June. Since then, the gas boiler has been completely turned off. If on days with insufficient PV yield my hot water isn't heated enough, the optional hot water assurance from my-PV can be used. Fortunately, this feature is also implemented by E3/DC, allowing me to adjust the settings via the home power station display," says the builder, expressing satisfaction with the system.
