my-PV expands training programme in the Netherlands and Belgium

Demand for intelligent solutions that use solar power for heat generation is growing. To meet this demand, my-PV is expanding its training programme for installers in the Netherlands and Belgium. With the end of the Dutch net metering scheme approaching, efficient use of solar power is becoming increasingly important. The first Power Coaching session in Belgium has already taken place and received positive feedback.

The end of net metering makes self-consumption more important than ever

From 1 January 2027, Dutch households will no longer be able to offset the electricity they feed into the public grid against their electricity consumption under the current net metering scheme. This makes it increasingly financially attractive to use as much self-generated solar power as possible directly at home.

my-PV solutions convert surplus PV electricity into heat for domestic hot water and heating. Thanks to stepless power control, the heating output is continuously adjusted to the available PV surplus.

Growing demand for these solutions is also increasing the need for technical expertise among installers.

my-PV Power Coaching in Dutch

To provide installation partners with the best possible support, my-PV will now regularly organise Power Coaching sessions in the Netherlands and Belgium. During these hands-on training sessions, installers learn about the installation, commissioning and system integration of my-PV products. The sessions are delivered in Dutch by a my-PV expert.

The training sessions cover:

  • Hands-on product training: AC ELWA 2, AC•THOR, AC•THOR 9s, my-PV WiFi Meter and P1 meter

  • Installation and commissioning: Practical exercises with the devices

  • my-PV Cloud: Device integration and functions such as my-PV DTO and my-PV SPO

  • System integration: Compatibility with inverters, battery storage systems and smart home systems

  • Technical exchange: Ask your questions directly to the my-PV experts

The first Power Coaching session in Belgium has already been successfully completed. The photo gallery below provides an impression of this first event.
