my-PV Expands Presence in the Benelux Region
The Austrian expert for photovoltaic heat is strategically expanding its sales activities in the Benelux region. By doing so, my-PV is strengthening its market presence in Belgium and the Netherlands and will increasingly focus on direct support for installers and HVAC professionals.
Direct Contact for Photovoltaic Heat in Benelux
Roel Defrancq (Technical Sales Manager Benelux) will now support installers and HVAC professionals directly from Belgium. The native Belgian speaks Dutch, French, and English and assists installers in the Netherlands and Belgium in successfully integrating my-PV photovoltaic heat solutions into their product portfolios.
The 54-year-old brings many years of experience in renewable energy, particularly in the sales of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems as well as PV installations. His focus is on sustainable, economical, and practical solutions for the heating sector.
Ideal Market Conditions for Self-Consumption Solutions
The market in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg offers excellent conditions for photovoltaic self-consumption optimization. Currently, my-PV’s most requested products include the photovoltaic power managers AC•THOR and AC•THOR 9s for domestic hot water and space heating from PV, as well as the PV heating element AC ELWA 2 for photovoltaic heat in grid-connected PV systems.
“Our reference projects show that the Benelux market is perfectly suited for our solutions,” says my-PV Managing Director Dr. Gerhard Rimpler. In the Netherlands, high PV feed-in can result in grid charges of up to €800 per year, depending on system size.
With my-PV solutions, surplus solar power is converted directly into domestic hot water and space heating – efficiently, economically, and in a grid-friendly manner.
my-PV at Solar Solutions Amsterdam 2025
my-PV will present its photovoltaic heat solutions from March 10 to 12 at the Solar Solutions Amsterdam trade fair. Visitors can meet the photovoltaic heat specialist at booth E11 and receive personal information about PV heat, self-consumption optimization, and sector coupling
Reference Project in the Netherlands
A practical example from Lekkerkerk (Netherlands) demonstrates the savings potential: A single-family home with a barn, equipped with an AC ELWA 2 in 2024, saves around €450 annually in grid charges and produces its domestic hot water almost free of charge using solar power.
How the homeowner discovered my-PV, which solution was implemented, and what savings were actually achieved can be found in this reference project.
