Compatibility with Carlo Gavazzi has been expanded

The partnership between my-PV and Carlo Gavazzi has been in place for several years. Compatibility has now been extended to include further electricity meters from the manufacturer.

Carlo Gavazzi is an international group of companies that develops and manufactures electronic control components for building and industrial automation. Its portfolio includes, amongst other things, sensors, energy meters and analysers, as well as IoT-based energy management systems, which are used worldwide in industrial applications and building automation.

Compatible products

The compatibility applies to the AC•THOR, the AC•THOR 9s and the AC ELWA 2. These can now be connected to Carlo Gavazzi’s EM530 and EM540 electricity meters

This combination is ideal for utilising surplus solar energy. The Carlo Gavazzi meter reads the surplus values directly and transmits them to the my-PV devices. This means that no additional metering hardware is required – the Carlo Gavazzi meter detects the surplus independently. These devices regulate the output continuously and with watt-level precision, ensuring that hot water production or supplementary heating is powered exclusively by solar power – without drawing on the mains supply.
