my-PV is now compatible with Janitza

my-PV and Janitza compatibility

my-PV customers who integrate Janitza’s energy measurement technology benefit from the wide range of options offered by professional energy data management and can precisely record energy flows in PV systems.

Thanks to this integration, the Janitza UMG 604 can be used with the AC•THOR, AC•THOR 9s and the AC ELWA 2 via Modbus TCP. The UMG 604 measures the energy flows at the property connection point and transmits the relevant measurement data directly to the my-PV device via TCP. Based on this data, the my-PV device controls heat generation continuously, thereby making optimum use of the available surplus PV energy. This allows self-generated solar power to be used specifically for hot water or heating. Self-consumption increases, whilst grid consumption decreases. A separate meter is therefore not required.
